WHERE TO STAY: Stay at the historic Idaho Hotel. Built in 1889 by the Louis & Joe Company, this historic hotel is a truly special lodging experience. Built as a stopover for stagecoaches, it is believed to be the largest single building in Owyhee County. The original building is a two story affair with a three-story extension added to the east in 1913. The original building contains 22 rooms, and the three-story extension contains another seven rooms. The hotel has several suites and guest rooms. The spacious, well-appointed rooms, suites and convention center provide a charming lodging experience. The restaurant serves a variety of appetizers and entrées, and a full menu is available for breakfast and dinner.
