The tool tips of the players and batsman, ball and bowler, stroke types, and the number of fields now appear above the ground automatically. The spinning ball effect has been changed in order to reproduce the real cricket. The graphic displays of the bowler's run, and the batsman's swing, over the full range of their movement are now shown dynamically on the ball.
The careers mode of Career mode is now quite deep, and includes an injury-risk rating system, allowing you to study the risk analysis of various injuries and make informed decisions on whether you want to play through those injuries. You can also see how each player's career was shaped by retirement, operations, the order of selection, being born on the cricketing calendar, and so on.
Earlier this year, I was interviewed by the BBC World Service, which, I thought, made me the oldest pundit ever interviewed on live radio. There were some obvious hitches, but it was a common event in those days so I think I’m still in there. Anyway, as I tried to describe the reasons why I thought the English cricket team were in decline, I was interrupted by the journalist into telling me that my analysis was based on “blinkered nationalism”. No one else is allowed to think such things. The answer is that you can’t go on like this. Combining a fierce old-fashioned quality and an inventor’s ability to claim invention if it’s possible, the English cricket team needs, and is entitled to, a wider talent pool. That’s true in the arts, the sciences, the media, the coastguard and the police and I think it’s true of cricket too.
Essus technology has been implemented and works on all the cricket equipment and bats in use throughout the world. According to EA: \"Essus fingerprints are stored inside the bat and form a map of the bat's unique track, allowing the Essus system to work in all conditions. When the bat hits something else, the system recognizes it from its unique track and adjusts accordingly for the actual amount of energy it carries, providing the accuracy of each hit.\". d2c66b5586
