There are so many ways we could relate to the story of soundless. As a fan of the show, as a student of feminism, and as a viewer of the media, I can say that theres no single, objective point in one persons life that determines the truth of what happens next, or who you are, or what you should do. There is no objective point in one persons life, or even in the life of this show, that we could say determines the next step of the story arc, that tells us whether or not this relationship is what it seems, a good one that grows, sustains, changes, or breaks apart. That decision is left in the hands of the one who decides what to do with her life and who she will fall in love with, in the one who decides where its all leading. For that reason, the ending of The L Word makes me very sad. I hope that my season can get me back on to that boat, that my life and story can go on.And let it be known that I feel like I am cheating by providing a 720p clip. It would be hard to live with myself after this.Well, the season has officially begun. That last episode of The L Word Season 4 was the first in which we saw season 2 take over, and its still unclear exactly what that entails. The show still seems to be following the second arc of Jessicas story, at least at this point. That arc isnt over yet, of course. Its just that we are in the middle of it, with Jessicas tormented self-discovery still underway. We seem to be transported in time to the same exact spot in the timeline that Season 1 started from. But that first scene with Jessicas husband James, waking up in bed alone with a screamy Jess and then a new house to clear out, was difficult to process. We knew she was hiding something, especially about the man she had just left, but the absolute revelation of her trauma was a horrible blow. I just hope that that trauma wont stop any of this arc from being successful for Jess. Its an emotional ride we are about to embark upon, but its an emotional ride with a talented creator guiding the ride. 827ec27edc
