Once the PTR goes live on March 2, we'd like to remind you to not be overzealous in questing and trying out items. Save often where you can. In the meantime while testing on the PTR, we will also have a few limited-time event items available that serve as a welcome encouragement toward players to help us out. Before then, we hope more can enjoy conquering runs and guild challenges on the ladder, rewarding players with cosmetics for completing a run. For those of note, we've added gear sets and weapon skins (not champion gear) including brand-new skins for the Valyrian Steel and Iron Heart weapons. While on the topic of Legendaries, we're also awarding a brand-new weapon, the Heavenly Staff, to those who complete an arena run that includes an end boss fight. Lastly, we have several new Legendary weapons in the works that we'll be announcing soon. We look forward to your feedback and suggestions for this starting phase of the Ladder!
It has come to our attention that some players are not unlocking the "On My Way" message upon logging into Battle.net. We have disabled the code that prevents this message, and members should now appear in the queue able to begin questing on the PTR. We'll continue to monitor the server and if necessary we'll enable the keep the "On My Way" banner visible for those who have provided their Battle.net email address in order to participate in the ladder system.
If you don't see the banner or text, it does NOT mean that you are waiting to join the ladder! It means that there is no problem with being logged on to Battle.net, so please talk to a Blizzard staff member if you have any questions about the situation.
-Season: A ladder season is the timeframe for participating in a specific session of the Ladder. Each season will use a separate character. The unlock times and deadlines for promotions are different for each session. d2c66b5586
